Welcome! Spencer Community Boosters (SCB) is excited to have you visit our Website!.
SBC has been in operation since 2015 and provides sport opportunities to area youth. In the early years we provided rec league baseball programs and youth basketball. Today we provide all competitive youth basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball programs for the Spencer youth. We believe that by providing youth sports at an affordable rate we are providing long lasting memories and changing lives. Our programs don't just provide a chance to play a game but provide children the opportunity to be part of a team, acquire friendships, stay active and build healthy relationships with coaches and volunteers.
In addition to the great work our volunteers do with the youth, SCB continues to make an impact within the Spencer area in other ways:
- Sponsor the Friday Night Band each year at Spencerama
- Rebuilt Dugouts
- Field maintenance projects were completed
- Additional volleyball court added
- Replaced ARC park sound system upgrade
- Built new Announcing Booth/Shelter at the ARC Park
- Build a scholarship fund and start and annual scholarship program that focuses on volunteerism
- Installed new scoreboard at the ARC Park
- Donate to the Spencer Girls Scout Troop to assist with their “Welcome to Spencer” sign fundraiser
In 2022 we are looking forward to building a new Concession Stand! Each summer we host Baseball and Softball games 4 nights a week. Throughout the week we see over 800 spectators. Our current stand is not able to manage the volume of people. We are excited to make the Spencer ARC Park the most utilized park in the Spencer community.
